30 Hour Famine Registration

March 6-7, 2026 | On March 6-7, students will participate in a 30 hour famine and raise money to fight hunger. Please see the note in the registration form for how funds will be raised this year. Every dollar will go toward blessing a local feeding organization in Franklin County.
The famine will begin at 12pm (or at your student's school lunchtime) on Friday, March 6th and we will break the fast together on Saturday, March 7th at 6pm.
Students will come to the church on Friday at 7pm. Throughout the famine, there will be hang out time / devotion and response time / learning about local hunger. Students should come prepared to rough it with a sleeping bag and a pad to sleep on in the church overnight.

Saturday, we will participate in multiple local service projects.

If you have any questions, please contact Rob Gunkelman (rgunkelman@kschurch.org).

I understand that in the event medical intervention is needed, every attempt will be made to contact immediately the persons listed on this form. If a disagreement arises, the Participant (or parent/guardian) agrees to resolve the matter through a mutually acceptable process. If the participate (or parent/guardian) and King Street Church cannot agree upon such a process a three-member arbitration panel for resolution pursuant to the rules of the American Arbitration Association will be contacted.

I further give permission for still or moving images of my child to be used by the church for promotional purposes in printed and/or electronic media.

This year, in place of fundraising, we are asking students to contribute a registration cost/donation of $50 for this event. Every dollar of this cost will go toward a donation to a local feeding organization in Franklin County.
